Death.
A 5 letter word with so much meaning and so much finality!
There is nothing good about death so many have gone before there time, so many die with their whole life ahead of them.
Death to me is like a thief in the night.
They take what they want and then when morning comes you're left to deal with the repercussions. That's a lot like death.
People die and are taken away so suddenly and you are the one left to deal with it all, with your grief and your lonliness. The feeling of loss,
devestation, and overwhelming sadness.
You're left to try to make since of your world.
I think when people die that's when you really see what an impact they have made on you and your world.
You realize that they were so much more than a friend, a brother, a son, a daughter, a wife, a husband, a lover, a mother,
they were a part of your world, and hold a part of your heart that no one can replace.
There is nothing beautiful or poetic about death,
but the feeling that you get when you remember that person,
that moment when you start to realize that life is too short to be living in pain and sadness,
the moment you realize that you are going to be okay,
that's the moment it becomes beautiful,
that's the moment that death becomes healing,
that's the moment that the weight is lifted off of your heart,
that's the moment you finally learn to live again.
I read this yesterday and I think it somes up life pretty perfectly. "One day your life will pass before your eyes; makes sure its worth watching."
We all should live like that.
we should all live our life and make it so beautiful, that when God calls our name,
we will know that we lived a life that our Lord and everyone we know would be proud of.
So when you think about someone you love that has died,
remember the good times and the impact and joy that they have brought to your life
and let it be a lesson to us all that we are not promised tomorrow.
If death teaches us anything it's that we don't have long on this earth, we're not even guaranteed another breathe,
but while we are here we should cherish the ones we have,
tell them we love them everyday,
never take anything for granted,
and live with such a passion
that when we go others will look back on the times that they have shared with us and be glad that they were a part of our lives.
Remember to live well, laugh often, and love much and ask yourself this, "One day when my life flashes before my eyes; will it be worth
watching?"
